Good Omens

Quiet and watchful, the frog waits within the Void—the dark in-between where the spirits of the Haunted Woods linger, neither entirely here nor entirely gone. Against the endless darkness, an unexplained light catches his form, revealing him just long enough to be seen.

Frogs have long been associated with transformation, renewal, and the crossing from one state of being into another—a fitting creature for a place that exists somewhere between what was and what comes next.

Perhaps seeing him is exactly what his name suggests.

A good omen.

Or perhaps the spirits of the Haunted Woods aren't here to tell you anything at all.

Perhaps they are simply watching.

Good Omens is an original 1-of-1 artwork by Laurie Sams from the Haunted Woods collection. Handmade, completely one of a kind, and never recreated as another original.

Somewhere between here and there, the spirits are waiting.
